Minusta ei ole kiva esitellä itseäni verkossa. Mieluummin esittelen tanssia ja muita kiinnostuksenkohteitani siinä toivossa, että informaatiosta todella olisi jotain iloa tai hyötyä jollekulle. Siinä tapauksessa, että välttämättä pitää jonkun saada jotain minusta tietää, tässäpä olen.

Asiat, joista jotain kuvittelen tietäväni, siis edes sen verran, että kehtaa heitellä haja-ajatuksia, ovat lähinnä tanssi ja kuntoiluun liittyvät asiat. Tanssiasiaa on lähinnä swingtanssijoille: sosiologisia tai kasvatuksellisia näkökulmia tanssiin, retrokamaa, swingaikakauden esittelya ja sekalaisia hajatelmia. namely swing dancers; sociological and educational aspects on dancing, intro of the swing era and other vintage stuff, among other things, and also some odd ends - tinkering for beginners, (for Finns:) työsuojelutietoa, pics for nosey ones ;-) and this list of my personal interests, in case somebody finds it either useful, interesting, funny, or the like. I live in Helsinki, or Helsingfors, as I say in Swedish, my mother tongue. Finland (or Suomi in Finnish) has two official languages, Finnish and Swedish, but also Sami (Saame, the language spoken in Lapland, Romani (Gypsy language), and again recently more and more Estonian, Russian, and Somali are spoken.   • Temppeliaukio church To do it the local way, find a concert or other event to attend at this Lutheran church to hear the fantastic acustics as well. But the main point is that it is inside a rock and carefully designed.

My interests include social dancing (swing, ballroom, ballet, folk dances, you name it), competitive swing dancing, participating in and arranging dance contests, a student organization, music (played the violin since I was 6), reading - mostly non-fiction, or if fiction, classics, poetry etc. I have dozens of pairs of shoes, some vintage. Needless to say, I treasure vintage clothing, too. I also like caves, nature, art, computers, gadgets, cars... I didn't say I understand any of those. I like doing crafts, eating well (I never buy tv-dinners!), having conversations, having a painful sports massage, teaching whatever, e.g. dance, and writing, which I have done to win my bread for four years (technical writer). Now I mostly write legal stuff. Oh, and as writing all day isn't enough, I contribute to some dictionary projects and Wikipedia, a free content encyclopedia being written collaboratively by contributors from around the world. Sad to say. 8) Ocarina www.ocarina.it/ 10/ 2002 Markku bought me an ocarina for my 33th birthday. Not many people in Finland know what an ocarina is. I have a book, or children's fairy tale "Tirlittan" by Oiva Paloheimo, and Tirlittan's ocarina made an impression that wouldn't fade, instead it almst became a obsession. Now I only need to learn to play it. Mine is big and low pitched. Maybe some day I'll have a small high pitched one, too! 9) TV 10/ 2002 Seems that I happen to be on TV too often. SVUL:n, nykyisen SLU:n valmentajakoulutuksessa ja F.A.F.:in kursseilla. Olen toiminut liikunta-alalla kuntosali- ja aerobic-ohjaajana 14 vuotta, lajivastaavana 4. Vahvuuteni ovat pedagogisessa otteessa, anatomian ja fysiologian tuntemuksessa ja tanssillisuudessa. Puolassa Zakopanessa, Ahvenanmaalla Getassa (löysin netistä, ei siis ole minun kuvani). Lohjalla on tietenkin Tytyri, jossa kehitellään maailman nopeinta pikahissiä 333-metrisessä kuilussa (Kone) 16) Origami 1980-> En ole guru mutta omaksi ilokseni taittelen ja välillä ravintolakuiteista tms. 17) Calligraphy 1980-> Mustekynä, viisto- ja tasaterä... mutta tässäkään en ole guru. Keräilen kaikenmoisia alkukirjaimia ja pidän fonteista.
